Update: It is undeniable that the acceleration of technological development can provide a myriad of benefits, but at the same time it can be harmful if it cannot be used wisely.

 Nuclear technology, for example, can be a useful source of energy, but it can also be diverted into a weapon with the potential to destroy the world. 

Long before western countries knew the importance of science, Islam had paid attention to the field of science.

 In the 9th century, to be precise in Baghdad, the names of early Muslim scientists such as Al-Khwarizmi, the first mathematician with his work Al-Jabar (830 AD), began to be heard, which until now are used in almost all schools. 

What we know as algorithm actually comes from Al-Khwarizmi.
