Polemic about diplomas, UGM Chancellor: Jokowi Alumni of S1 Study Program Faculty of Forestry Batch of 1980 Gadjah Mada University (UGM) has spoken about the polemic of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) diploma. UGM Chancellor Professor Ova Emilia said that the former mayor of Solo's bachelor's degree certificate was genuine. "First, Mr. Ir Jokowi is an alumnus of the S1 Study Program at the Faculty of Forestry UGM class of 1980," said Ova at a press conference, Tuesday (11/10/2022). Ova continued, Jokowi was declared graduated from UGM in 1985, in accordance with the provisions and proof of graduation according to what the campus had. Therefore, based on the data and information held by UGM, Ova confirmed the authenticity of the Indonesian number one bachelor's diploma.
