DOES HIGH ACADEMIC VALUES DO NOT GUARANTEE SOMEONE'S SUCCESS???  According to the Big Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), the definition of success is: success/success/ /success/ (a) : successful; lucky: succeed/success/success/(v) make successful; make lucky: success/success/ (and) success; luck: When approaching the school exam period, many say HIGH SCORE IN SCHOOL DOES NOT GUARANTEE SOMEONE'S SUCCESS OR SUCCESS IN THE FUTURE.  Is that right? At first glance it is true, but it is not correct because success is a journey not the end result. Something called success in the past may not necessarily be a measure of success now or in the future.  Example : 1. A baby aged 10 months who can walk then the baby has experienced success. When the age of 3 years can walk is no longer a measure of success.  2. A grade VI SD/MI child who passes the exam is said to be successful.
