History Ka'bah
The construction history of the Ka'bah dates back to the time of Abraham and Ishmael (peace be upon them) and it was in this city that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born and the revelation to the Prophet (peace be upon him) began in this city. This is the city from which the light of Islam spread and the Masjid al-Haram is located here, which was built for the worship of the people, as Allah (swt) says:
“The first house of Allah which is destined for the people is that which is in the Blessed One, which is blessed and guided for the whole world” (Al-Imran: 96).
In 570 or 571, Abrahah, the ruler of Yemen, invaded Mecca with 60,000 troops and thirteen elephants (according to some traditions, nine elephants) to destroy the Kaaba. The people of Makkah, thinking that they could not save the Ka'bah by fighting such a large army, went to the mountains under the leadership of their chief Abdul Muttalib. By the command of Allah Almighty, thousands of birds, commonly known as Ababil, appeared with pebbles in their beaks and claws, and they rained these pebbles on the army of Abrahah, so that the whole army was encircled in the valley near Mina. I was just like eaten straw.
So this whole army was destroyed by the command of Allaah. Allaah has mentioned this incident in the Qur'aan as follows:
Do you not see what your Lord has done to the people of the elephants? Did He not make their plotting in vain? And sent against them flocks of birds, which made them dust and stones? They used to kill him, so He made them like straw that they ate. "
This was the year when the Holy Prophet (sws) was born. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) spent most of his life here. Revelation was also revealed to him in that city and he preached
